How to read AI chatbot reviews: the company, the refund rules and the sources
Paid recommendation. If you subscribe through a link on this page, we receive a commission from the provider. The price you pay does not change. Every figure has a source and a read date.
Most AI chatbot reviews spend their words on the one thing they can least support: how good the chat feels. That takes weeks of use to judge, and a review that asserts it without showing how is asking for trust. The questions that can be checked are duller and matter more once you have paid: who runs the app, what happens to your money if you want out, and where each number came from.
This guide answers those questions for the nineteen apps reviewed on this site and explains how the reviews here are put together, so you can check them yourself. Company names, refund terms and cancellation rules come from each vendor's terms, policies and help pages; the pages behind every figure, register numbers included, are listed at the end of the page.

Apps that name a company come first, in alphabetical order. Secrets.ai, which gives only the name on your bank statement, follows, and apps that name no company on the pages read come last. A dash means the vendor's pages read for this guide say nothing on that point; it does not mean the vendor has no answer.
What should an AI chatbot review tell you?
A useful review of an AI chatbot answers questions you could check yourself, and tells you where to check them. Look for these:
- The recurring price, not the first payment. Several apps advertise an introductory charge; the figure that matters is what you pay from the second billing period on.
- The free allowance as a number, or a plain statement that the vendor publishes none.
- What extras cost in the app's own tokens, coins or credits, and what that currency buys.
- How to cancel and what happens to your money, including fees that can follow after you stop paying.
- Who runs the app, so you know who you have a contract with.
- A source and a date for every figure. Prices change; a number without a date cannot be checked.
A review that skips these and offers a score out of ten for the conversation is telling you how it felt to the writer, not what you will be charged.
How are the reviews on this site written?
Every review here is built from the vendor's own public pages: pricing, terms, membership and refund policies, help centres. Every figure's source is listed at the end of the page. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the review says so rather than estimating.
The reviews do not describe how chatting with a character feels, how realistic the images are or how fast replies come, because no vendor page can document that and inventing it would be worse than leaving it out. They also carry no user ratings or comments. What you get instead is a record you can verify: open a listed source and the figure should be there.
Who is behind the app?
Twelve of the nineteen apps name the company behind them, usually in the terms or the site footer. CrushOn.AI, Swipey and Lovescape name three different Cyprus companies. GeneratePorn.ai and Promptchan name companies registered in Dublin, DarLink Ai one in the Swiss Jura, Seduced one in Bucharest and Xotic AI one in Tallinn. Dondi.ai names a company in Tustin, California, and OurDream.ai names Dream Studio USA, Inc. without an address. Six of them also give a register or VAT number, shown in the table (DreamGF.ai and eHentai.ai give the same one), which you can look up in that country's official registers.
One company runs several brands. DreamGF.ai and eHentai.ai both name DreamAI SRL in Bucharest, and both link DreamBF.ai as a sister site, which shares their prices and most of their policies but names no company on the pages read. Five apps, Candy.ai, FlirtCam.Ai, GirlfriendGPT, JOI AI and Kupid.ai, name no company on the pages read for this guide, and Secrets.ai gives only the name that appears on your statement.
This matters for the dull reasons: the company is who you have a contract with, its country's law usually applies (Swipey's terms name the law of Cyprus), and it is the party a complaint, or a chargeback through your bank, is made against.
Can you get a refund?
Assume you will not get your money back, then look for the exceptions. Kupid.ai calls all sales final and gives no refunds on subscriptions once used. CrushOn.AI's terms say it will not refund usage fees. Swipey calls purchases final except where the law requires a refund. Lovescape publishes no refund policy of its own and leaves refunds to the rules of whoever processes the payment.
The exceptions come with conditions. Promptchan refunds within 30 days of purchase if the AI was not used significantly. Candy.ai refunds within 24 hours of payment if you used 20 tokens or fewer, for card payments only, and gives EU and UK buyers 14 days to withdraw. Secrets.ai gives EU and UK buyers 14 days on a first purchase only, deducting what you used, and excludes renewals. Seduced allows 14 days if no credits were used. Swipey names the same 14-day right and says it ends once you agree to start using the service.
One rule repeats: crypto payments are final at Promptchan, Secrets.ai and Seduced. If a refund matters to you, pay by card.
How do you cancel an AI chatbot subscription?
Five apps describe a cancel option you can use yourself. At Candy.ai it is under Profile, Settings, Unsubscribe, and deleting the account before the renewal date also ends the subscription. At CrushOn.AI and Promptchan you cancel in the account settings, at Secrets.ai in the settings or by email, and at Seduced on its plans page. At Lovescape and Swipey you can cancel at any time and keep access until the paid period ends; both say so in their terms.
Kupid.ai is the exception: stopping the next charge goes through its support team. GeneratePorn.ai is the opposite case, because its plans never renew. JOI AI moves an account back to its free Basic level if a payment is 7 days late.
Cancelling does not always end the costs. DreamGF.ai, DreamBF.ai and eHentai.ai reserve the right to charge past buyers $1.99 a month to keep an account active. DreamGF.ai and eHentai.ai say deleting the account avoids it; DreamBF.ai does not say. Candy.ai does not state whether access continues to the end of the paid period after you cancel.
What will your bank statement show?
Several apps promise discretion, and only some say what you will actually see. Secrets.ai names its billing descriptor, S LABS INC., and JOI AI says its charges appear as joi.com. Candy.ai says transactions appear under a neutral merchant name without giving it, and DreamGF.ai and DreamBF.ai promise no adult transactions on your bank statement.
These are the vendors' own descriptions; treat them as promises, not findings.
Questions about AI chatbot reviews
Do the reviews here describe what chatting is like?
No. They describe what each vendor publishes: prices, limits, rules and terms, with every source listed on the page. How a conversation feels cannot be documented from a vendor page, so the reviews leave it out rather than invent it.
Which AI chatbot apps give refunds?
Few, and on narrow terms. Promptchan refunds within 30 days if the AI was not used significantly, Candy.ai within 24 hours if 20 tokens or fewer were used, and Candy.ai, Secrets.ai, Seduced and Swipey name a 14-day withdrawal right with conditions. Kupid.ai and CrushOn.AI refund nothing.
How do I cancel an AI chatbot subscription?
Usually yourself, in the account settings or on a plans page: Candy.ai, CrushOn.AI, Promptchan, Secrets.ai and Seduced all describe one. Kupid.ai cancels renewals only through its support team, and GeneratePorn.ai plans never renew.
Why does it matter who runs the app?
The company is who you have a contract with and who a complaint goes to, and its country's law usually applies. It also shows which brands belong together: DreamGF.ai, DreamBF.ai and eHentai.ai share prices and the same $1.99 fee for past buyers.
Can I leave my own review here?
No. The site publishes no user reviews, ratings or comments. Everything on it comes from the vendors' published pages, and the source of every figure is listed on the page.
